What to look out when buying wigs??

Purchasing a wig and deciding to wear one takes a lot of courage and consideration. You definitely don't want to expense money buying a crappy wig and end up hating it. They are many things to look over for when buying a wig. One thing you must pay attention to is the quality of the caps, and the wig in general. Adjustable sizing is important because it has to fit your head before you can do anything with the wig. The knots on the back of the net allow you to resize to fit your head. Secondly, you need to ensure the net is fitting and tight enough for your every day movements. Secure the net by your ear with fitting cushioning on the side to make wearing more comfortable. High quality nets can protect and maintain the shape of the wig for a longer period if time. Natural and healthy looking with no knots can guarantee a soft and silky texture of the wig. Make sure to by a smooth top wig to allow the wig to fall naturally, giving it silky texture and natural style.

Pay attention to the details and you will realize the difference between high quality wigs and poor quality wigs. High quality wigs mostly imported from Japan and Korea have laced hair net which allows more room for breathing, creates a softer texture and secures hair over a long period. Poor quality wigs, usually manufactured in China, have regular hair net which blocks air flow, causes discomfort after a while and does not secure the hair very well.

Imported wigs tend to fit better and have a softer texture. Poor quality hair nets have a tighter fit, less room for air and more rigid texture and frame. Laced hair nets by far allows more room for breathing, secure the net tighter and better texture. High quality wigs have a natural shine from the top which creates a more vibrant look. Dull color under light creates a sluggish look and degrades the overall quality of the wig. High quality gyaru wigs manufactured from Japan or Korea do not tangle easily when combing, less knots and has a smooth texture. Poor quality gyaru wigs get tangled and often create knots and hard to comb through.
How to wear wigs?
1. Pull back your natural hair, preferably secure it so it won’t fall out.
2. Align the hair net and support it with both hands.
3. Fit the hair net over down. Make sure to align the net to your hairline and neckline.
4. Secure all hair and clip it inside the net.
5. Place the wig over and adjust the tightness, fitting and style accordingly

How to take care of wigs?
1. Use conditioning spray 2 - 3 times a week.
2. Spray from an arm's length evenly.
3. Comb out the knots of the wig gently and repeat steps 1 - 3.

How to comb wigs?
1. Take a handful of hair from the wig.
2. Gently brush in one direction.
3. Use finger to twist the hair to give the wig a natural loose curl.

How to wash wigs?
Washing is key when taking care of wigs!
1. Use shampoo like how you would wash your own hair. Make sure to brush out all the knots on the wig before washing it or else more hair could be tangled.
2. Soak the wig in the water with shampoo for 1
to 2 minutes.
3. Carefully and gently rub the wig to clean of dirt collected.
4. Rinse the wig with clean water for a few times until the shampoo is completely washed off.
5. Note, it is important to wash them regularly or else oil and dirt collected over time could damage the quality of the wig and even your own hair.

Why wigs?!

If you are still hesitating or simply curious why people would even buy wigs, then you got to look at the benefits of wigs.

1. It’s fast and easy. Especially if you are always on the go, you can always look pretty doing it! Instead of spending 30 minutes to 1 hour doing your hair and make up, a gyaru wig will simply take 7 minutes or less. If you think about it all you need to do is to pull back your hair and put it on. Easily adjust and comb out the edges to fix the style and then you are ready to go! Time is money and who knows, maybe the time saved also could mean an opportunity to find Prince Charming!

2.. Save money in the long run. Going to the salon on any given day for special occasion can cost up to $100, but a Japanese gyaru wig is only half the price, if not cheaper! Plus, hair done by the salon for a special occasion only lasts one night for up to hundreds of dollars. Yet a wig cost much lesser and you can use it anything. This is honestly the most money saving way to look stylish and fashionable without spending more. I really don't see the reason not to buy wigs :D

3. Setting trends. Simply put, wigs are now the new fashion trend. You can be the first among your friends to be a princess! Stop following what other people have been doing. Instead, be bold and set your own trends. The reason why celebrities are celebrities is because they don't blindly follow other people. They wear their style loud and proud. You should too and begin with Japanese Gyaru wigs!!

4. Match any outfit. A curly wig can make you look sexy and elegant, a straight wig gives you a casual look and a short wig is good for an adventurous day. Remember those bad hair days where you wanted to wear a dress but because of your hair and you have no time to fix it, you had to throw on a pair of jeans and t-shirts? I don't know about you, but i know i have, MANY TIMES. But, we have an easy solution to that! Simply put on the clothes that you like and use wigs to match your outfit instead!! Saves time, and allow you to have a fashionable style without even trying!

5. Low maintenance. You don’t need to wash the wig every day or comb it out every 5 minutes. It’s great for people who are too busy to worry about hair all the time! You really don't need to worry too much with wigs. If you look at the maintenance level, it is even lesser than your own hair. You don't need to wash it every day and looks even better! Plus, you know how girls have to comb out their hair every 5 minutes to give it a smooth and soft texture? that is very troublesome! Yet, wigs will look good throughout the day and you don't have to worry a single thing about it.

6. Adjustable hair style that can last forever! You can trim your wigs to fit your style and never worry about trimming again! This is the best part: wigs can never grow. Don't worry about not getting the same hair style you want because the person cut it differently every time. Or struggle to recreate an old look when you can simply have the same style whenever you put on a wig. There are many benefits of wigs, but people don't realize it because they have never tried it on before. So, give it a shot! Trust me, you will be surprised at the results :)

There are many components into buying, owning and using a wig.

First, purchasing. What should you look at when you buy wigs?

1. You gotta know what style do you like and what color. Long wigs allow you to look leaner and taller. Short wigs give a cute and adventurous look. Curly wigs are elegant and sexy at the same time. Wigs come in all colors, sizes and style. If you have a darker skin tone, try a light colored wig that will create a contrast and highlight your complexion. If you have lighter skin, use a darker and more natural color that can make your complexion pop. It's all about the right fit and the right style!

2. Choosing the style should depend on your preferences and the shape of your face. If you have an oval shaped face, long curly wigs are the best choice to make your face look slimmer and highlight your key features. If you face is slightly rounder, go with a straight wig to extend your face. Don't be afraid to try a new look. Mix and match curly wigs with your outfit Choosing the style is key to complete your princess look.

3. Consider the texture and quality. Make sure the hair net has good air flow because tight spaces could cause damage to your hair in the long run. Wigs from Japan and Korea usually have better quality and texture. The last point is very important. It is crucial to buy a better quality wig instead of settling for a cheap wig that can cause more harm than good. If you think about it, wigs are the closest to your hair. Poor quality nets and uncomfortable wigs will hurt you in the long run. Don't hesitate to spend that extra dollar if it guarantees better product. In the following posts below, we will teach you how to identify better wigs compared to wigs made in china. Keep reading!

4. Looking for the perfect fit takes time and patience. Try on different products and never be afraid to see for yourself.

The process of wearing a wig is very simple and fast. In fact, it only take 5 minutes to wear then and another 5 minutes to comb it out and adjust accordingly! All of Himecastle wigs are made out of high quality nets that allow more room for breathing. The wigs are heat resistant but also very easy to manage. A brush can easily untangle the hair and shape the wig to match your style. One thing that you have to take note when buying wigs is the weight of the wig. Undeniably, longer wigs have heavier weight because it has more hair on top of your own hair. However, the problem can be easily solved by trimming the wig or keep your hair short and light. Also, unlike other wigs that looks unnatural and fake, HimeCastle wig has different designs to match your skin tone. To look like a princess from head to toe, HimeCastle also sells nail art, contact lense, fake eye lashes and high volume mascara to highlight your key features!! Go to www.himecastle.com to check out the varies promotional items and wigs on sale !!

I tried on a straight wig that is approximately 24 inches last week. First, I put on the hair net to pull my hair back. Then I placed the wig over my head and adjusted it. It only took my 5 minutes to put it on and 5 minutes to adjust it. Very fast and convenient! With long wigs, the hair tends to get tangled very easily. However, I simply used a brush to brush it out, and then comb out the ends. Personally, I like how unlike other wigs, Himecastle wigs allow more room for air, it fits my head very well and very comfortable. Plus, the style looks very natural too since the color of the wig matches my skin tone. Comparing to styling my hair, blow drying and having to do it myself, wearing wigs are very convenient. The thing that tripped me up the most is the weight of the wig. I have long hair to begin with, so with a long wig, it adds more weight to my neck. However, this can be resolved easily by trimming the wig to keep the length but get rid of the weight or keep a short hair and have wigs to go with it. My experience overall was very interesting and refreshing. After trying on the wig, i really like my hair that way. It is highly recommended to go to Himecastle and buy some cute, fashion Japanese wigs! Five Star rating definitely!
